Dolphin Park Classic

BallersNetwork.com - this is where players live. Come to Tournaments section of the site to learn about some of the world’s best official runs and how you can join.
Located smack in the middle of an upper class Vancouver, B.C., neighborhood, Dolphin Park is surrounded by expensive homes that encircle the fringes of the blacktop.
A giant cottonwood tree hangs over the west side of the court, providing shade for fans and occasionally acting as a defensive stopper for those unfamiliar with the lay of the land. But despite the aesthetic differences between Dolphin and other courts of basketball lore like Rucker, Venice Beach and Mosswood, elite players and celebrities are drawn to Dolphin just the same.

Dolphin Parks’ ascent started back in 1986, when a group of high school players from the Richmond, B.C., area organized the first-ever Dolphin Park Classic.
Since then, the 4-on-4 tournament has blossomed into the premier summer basketball event in the Vancouver area. On top of hosting some of the top local talent every year, the tourney also attracts many players from the Seattle area, who make the trek over the border every summer just to play in the Classic.
