The Deal: La Petanca is a very old court, that always has been loved by the ballers of Premià because of the good quality of the court surface, blackboards and rims.
The level of play is quite high and good enough to play some exciting pick-up games that make every player give his best. The best games can be seen during summer or sunday afternoons during the rest of the year. We already know some of the ballers of Premià (Joan “Peto” Sánchez, Jos, J-Regi and Raúl Araujo have already featured at Ballers Network).
There is a special rivalry with the court of Boet, in the neighbouring town of Mataró. The ballers of La Petanca prefer their court because of its infrastructure: better rims, better surface… However the rivalry is not just about the quality of the court, but also about the quality of the ballers. The locals of La Petanca claim they usually win when playing 5×5.
