The Deal: Without doubt, the court of the Parc de l’Espanya Industrial
is the top streetball court in Barcelona. Placed in the Sants area is better known as the Industry Ghetto. Every summer you can see pro ballers from the top level Spanish leagues playing pickup games. The trees of the parc give the players a comfortable shadow that hides them from the hot, melting summer sun. Every day you can find top level streetball games and ballers there
, normally playing 3-on-3.
5-on-5 games are a little bit dangerous, because half of the court is slippery on some stretches of its surface. This way, kids usually are playing on this, let’s say, unsafe side of the court, where hard play is not possible. Meanwhile, the pros give their best at the other rim.
Nacho “Da Flow” Martín, Joan “J-Whip” Fernández, Àlex Llorca, Juli Garrote, Pep Ortega, together with the Dominican Nelson Martínez, Wilson Rosario or Nando Arturo and the brave female baller Jelena Krsmanovic are always looking forward to play in the Industry Ghetto.

Played here first time today. Really nice court and some good ballers. I highly recommend it if you are looking to play in BCN even though the rim we played on was a bit below regulation. I’ve only played in 2 other courts (Monumental and parque poble neu) but Parc de l’Espanya Industria is were I’ll be playing from now on.
