Matthew Horne is a 6-6, 220-pound deep threat that can play either the 2 or 3positions. His size allows him to hit the glass from the wing and finish against post players in the paint. His strength lies in his ability to shoot the 3 ball with pure precision.

Matthew is a scoring threat any where on the floor, and consistently scores in bunches! Playing for the EBA Maryland Suns in 2008, he was the third leading scorer averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds a game playing just 15 minutes, with the two leading scorers playing well over 40 minutes per contest. Matthew Horne is a reliable offensive weapon in any teams arsenal!

A product of Fort Washington, MD, which is located in the basketball hot bead of Prince George’s county, in which the 2007 and 2008 collegiate basketball National Player’s of the year are from, Matthew has a solid reputation as one of the best shooters in the area. Played High school at Friendly High School (1997-2000) an Surrattesville High school (2000-2001) where he led the team in scoring, before moving on to play for Pete Strickland at Coastal Carolina.

Matthew is currently playing at the Number 2 ranked outdoor summer league in the country, Washington DC’s Goodman League. Matthew is more than holding his own with averages of 20 ppg throughout the Goodman League Playoffs.
