Morehead State’s Chynna Bozeman is a student of the game. Hours of late-night practice with her father got her to where she is today - First Team All-Ohio Valley Conference.
As a true floor general, Bozeman sees the floor extremely well, anticipating where people are going to be open before they even get there. She enjoys distributing the rock more than scoring, and this summer is going to work on a couple individual things - ball handling and her quickness - to put herself and her team in the right place to go far next season.

My Home Court: Woodward Park Rec Center in Columbus. My Dad worked there and he was instrumental in me becoming the player that I am today.
Playing Experience: I’ve been playing forever. I started at the Rec at five years old, but before then, my Dad was teaching me the game on a plastic hoop in the yard.
Current Team: Morehead State Eagles
Favorite Sneakers: Chamique Holdsclaw Shox. I wanted them so badly when they came out, I made my Dad take me one hour from Columbus to get them.
Favorite Player: Kobe Bryant
Favorite Team: Los Angeles Lakers
Go-to-Move: I like to get to the basket. It’s not one move though; I’ll do whatever it takes to get me to the cup. I’m a pretty decent free throw shooter once I get in rhythm, so if I can get to the line I feel confident they’re going down.
I play: Very intense. I love the game and I’m a leader out there. I’m pretty fun to watch.
Coming up I admired: My Dad. He worked a few jobs, but he took me to the Rec Center when he worked there and would stay after hours with me. He taught me my basketball IQ.
My basketball moment: When my high school won the state championship as a senior in 2007.
