As a high school standout at Akron’s St. Vincent-St. Mary alongside teammate and childhood friend LeBron James, Romeo Travis was always playing in front of an international audience. Staying in his hometown, Travis went on to become the University of Akron’s all-time blocked shots leader (165), and finished ranked seventh on the career-scoring chart (1,491) and ninth in career rebounds (783). In 2006-07 as a senior, he was named an Associated Press All-American and was honored as the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year. Besides his basketball accolades, you can now add movie star to that list with the recent premiere of “More Than A Game,” a documentary that examines the maturation of St. Vincent-St. Mary’s version of the Fab Five. Travis is currently playing in Germany’s top division for Ratiopharm Ulm.

I’ve been overlooked for many years in the basketball world. From college, to europe, and I want people to see that you can make it, even if no one else believes. I rep nike, and Jordan at all times. I train high basketball player in San Diego, Ca, where I am from using Nike Sparq training equipment. Hit me up with what I need to do from this point forward to get more exposure and a profile.
Best regards!
I remember watching Romeo play for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. Even though they had LeBron, Romeo put in work.
i remember seeing you play on tv in 2002. i think u had about 15 and 12. but yo man bron bron of course stoled the show with the stars and stripes shoes.
I remember Romeo when I coached at Akron ST. Vincent ST. Mary’s. Romeo was coachable likable, and had natural talent for football as well. Pitt wanted him to play football and basketball. But the one thing I remember most about Romeo was that he was a good person and would help anyone if he could and that it was a pleasure to coach him and to be around him while he was there
