My Home Court: C.S. 133 Playground (131st), West 4th Street (NYC) Bob Lanier Court (Olean, NY)
Playing Experience: I started playing around fifth grade. Playing in Harlem, I always played with the guys and dealt with the whole “she can’t play” nonsense. After years of polishing my game, I became a regular with the guys and even joined the Frederick Douglass Panthers AAU (coached by Hammer Stevens and Harold McClendon Jr.). I played in the late Clyde Frazier Jr.’s Slam Jam Classics all through junior high and high school – one of the best womens tournaments in the tri-state area. I played high school ball at Frederick Douglass Academy and earned a scholarship to attend Saint Bonaventure University. In the summer, I love to hoop over at the Cage and Bob Couch’s Uptown Challenge – these places have the best atmosphere for womens basketball.

Coming up I admired: My mom. She wasn’t a baller, but always was my biggest fan and supporter.
My basketball moment: Scoring the first triple double in the University’s history versus Richmond in double overtime; and picking up the win.
