Baller Profile: Kevin “Kev-One” Couliau

Franceballers|   April 2, 2009

Kevin Couliau is what is usually called a basketball activist. Truth be told, he does so much stuff “hoop related”, that his face should be in the dictionnary next to the word activist. Kev-One is a pretty good ball player himself, with a nice handle and sick jumper, known for getting busy both on the hardwood and on he hardtop. But it’s when he’s off the ball that he does the most damage. Photographer, reporter, graphic designer, cameraman, video director, blogger, event organizer… Kevin wears more hats than Lil’ Wayne got tats. Nowadays, he’s trying to focus essentially on his collaborations with the hoop magazine Dime and its website. But his latest work in progress is what occupies him the most these days: a website that showcases his love for streetball and for the hoop culture as a whole, www.asphalt-chronicles.com.
