Álex Llorca jumps to the next level

Álex Llorca a.k.a. “What happened to that boy” is one of the best ballers of Spain and now, at the age of 20, has reached the maximum level of pro basketball in Spain: the ACB.
The Spanish pro basketball league is considered the second best league in the world, after the NBA. Some of the best players outside the NBA are playing in the ACB, including many of the well known ballers from the playgrounds of NY, such as Andre “Dre 3000” Barrett, who plays for Regal FC Barcelona; Darren “DP” Phillip, playing for Cai Zaragoza or Quinton “T2” Hosley, who played for half a season for Real Madrid.
Llorca is the second baller published on Ballers Network Spain playing in the ACB, together with Nacho “DaFlow” Martín. “DaFlow” currently plays for CB Granada for the third consecutive season and Llorca signed with Ricoh Manresa for a period of three years last summer. Before, he played in small teams and the senior team of CB Hospitalet, in the second category of Spanish Basketball.
It all happened on the 22nd of March in a game that his team played against FC Barcelona. The game will be recalled as one of the most exciting games in ACB history, because it needed four overtimes to have a winner. And it was Llorca’s team. The 6-3 shooting guard got his chance during the last overtime. He played just a minute, helped his teammates in defense and grabbed an offensive rebound. These are the first stats of what could be a long and successful elite career for him.
And that’s how one of the best ballers of Barcelona’s Sants court, homie of the streetball team B-Squad, and one of the most promising young talents of Spanish basketball, has made the jump to the next level.
